I needed a fotography fix, so I went to the Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary this past Saturday. Captured a few good images…actually more than a few…it was a good day and some of the animals were co-operating nicely.

Here are the top dozen that shots that I really like from the afternoon’s shoot:

Kazan & Tessa playing (now that’s a ruckus!)

The Jaglions: Jazzie and Tsunami

It’s worth noting that the only living jaglions (Jaguar/Lion cross) that we know of are these two found at the Bear Creek Sanctuary. It’s quite an honour for me to have the access required to be able to photograph them. Beautiful, aren’t they?

Tsunami in a “pause pose”…

Tsunami on the prowl

Leftovers from dinner?

Zulu

Zulu looking regal

Let me lick you with my raspy tongue!

Zulu isn’t a cute baby cub any more, as he was when I produced the poster!

Bambi not impressed by Zulu.

White Bengal Tiger cuteness.

Alien White Tiger (gotta love redeye with wild animals)!

And finally, my favourite photo of the day is:

Please play with me? (Tsunami the Jaglion)

Enjoy!

This is a photo of my girlfriend, Taj (the only one my wife will let me have). She’s a siberian tiger who lives at the Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary.

More photos of Taj can be found here.

What better way to start a photography blog than to post an...

What better way to start a photography blog than to post an LOLCat image?
